Central Ohio is facing a significant increase in electricity demand, driven by economic growth and the expansion of data centers. The Eastern Cottontail Solar Project is essential to meeting this demand and ensuring that our region has a stable and reliable energy supply. The project will also provide important economic advantages. By generating power locally, we can reduce our reliance on energy imports and help lower electricity costs for Ohio residents and businesses. Additionally, the project will create over 500 construction jobs and numerous long-term positions in operations and maintenance, providing economic stability and growth in our community.
